About Delhi: India a land of snake charmers and magicians and the capital of this land of mysteries is Delhi. Delhi is just not a city but a book-- a book which narrates the history of India. The city was built and destroyed seven times and has been witness to the various events which has brought India through the history books. Seven times this city went through the pain of being built and rebuilt. Today as the capital of India Delhi is the seat of administration and the monuments which tell the saga of a bygone era stand there. These icons are testimony to the grandeur of past and also an attraction for the tourists. With an area of 1483 sq. Kms, Delhi is all set to acquire full statehood. The charm of Delhi has attracted Emperors, Conquerors and poors equally. It is correctly said that Delhi is a land of 'Dilwalas' that is for people with heart. This phrase acquires a true color when one goes around the lanes of Delhi. Delhi-- a window to the kaleidoscope that is India.

Day 1:- Arrive Delhi, meet & assist at the airport & transfer to the hotel. Evening free at leisure. Overnight in  Delhi hotel.

Day 2:- After breakfast visit the ancient capital city, with its magnificent Red Fort the pageant of Indian History, from its origin around 1200 BC, through the periods under the Sultans in the 10th century and Mughals from the 14th Century. Visit the famous Chandni Chowk, Jama Mosque, Gauri Shankar Temple & Raj Ghat. Then in afternoon visit New Delhi where ornate buildings recall the days when India was jewel in the crown of the British empire. Visit Qutab Minar, India Gate, Humayun’s Tomb, Safdarjung Tomb, The President’s House, Mahatma Gandhi Memorial, Lotus Temple & Laxmi Narayan Temple. Overnight in  Delhi hotel. 

About Amritsar: It is one of the most ancient and fascinating cities of India. It is an important seat of Sikh history and culture. Amritsar has various historical and religious sites. The most famous of them all in the Golden Temple which was founded by the fourth Guru of Sikhs, Guru Ramdas and completed by his successor Guru Arjun Dev. Another revered shrine is the Durgiana Temple which is dedicated to goddess Durga. The museum at Ram Bagh houses weapons dating back to Moghul times and some portraits of the ruling houses of the Punjab. The Jallianwala Bagh at Amritsar reminds the visitor of one of the most heart-rending events in the history of India. Bullet marks and the well into which some people jumped to escape the onslaught can still be seen. Another interesting thing to see is the flag hosting ceremony at the Wagah border between India & Pakistan.

Day 3:- After breakfast, drop at the train station to catch a train for Amritsar/ Or drive to Amritsar. Arrive Amritsar and check in the reserved hotel. Day 4:- After breakfast, morning visit to the famous GOLDEN TEMPLE. The tomb of the temple is made of gold and is one of  the biggest Sikh religion temple in the world. Then afternoon visit the Wagah border (border between India & Pakistan). At Wagah Border, witness the ceremonial changing of guard, the march-past followed by the singing of national anthem and other patriotic songs. Solders parading in full swing and the sight of India-Pakistan border from such close quarters will evoke a sense of nostalgia. This ceremony is very grand and filled with a lot of energy. Overnight in Hotel.

Day 5:- After breakfast, depart for Delhi. Arrive Delhi and then free at will or as per your further plans. *** THE TOUR ENDS ***
